A bit frustrating.
Stayed here in March this year. The two rooms we booked were very comfortable deluxe rooms that were spotlessly clean. The breakfast is more than adequate with a reasonable selection of food. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, however, it is advisable to know a few words of Spanish or have Google Translate handy.
During our last visit in March, the restaurant was closed for 2 evenings, Sunday and Monday. ( Most restaurants in El Ejido appear to be closed on Sunday nights) This time the restaurant was closed every night without any explanation, which meant that we had to go out and find somewhere each night which is not easy to do without using a car or taxi, it was also an added expense. When we booked with booking.com it clearly stated that there was an a la carte restaurant at the hotel. It's all very well having a restaurant, but unless it's open it's a bit of a waste of time advertising it. On Friday evening the internet failed and did not get repaired until Monday morning. I believe that the hotel should have been able to get this sorted on a Saturday morning.
